The Trojan soldier, known as a strong and fearless fighter
who would know the loneliness he felt inside...
No friends, no soldiers, no one by his side...
Oh! What a lonely soldier.

Hector was his name.
No one knew how heartbroken he was.
No soldier knew his name.
Oh! What a lonely soldier.

Guarding the city of Troy, heartbroken, and lonely
he cried “Help! Help! I’m attacked.”
Help came out guarding the city of Troy.
Oh! What a lonely soldier.

Standing by the door guarding once again. Lonely,
wanting attention, again he cried. “Stabbed!”
Out came the soldiers to see he was lying again.
Oh! Hector, what a lonely soldier you are.

On the third night, Hector readied for guard.
Falling asleep, he didn’t know he was being watched.
  “Help! Help! I’m being attacked!”
Strong and fearless Hector, a lonely, lying soldier.
