Dimmed lights, fogged up glass
brown eye looking in and out.
the same.
what if you were
reflected off a reflection?
would it make you any less?
my eye, stays same,
no matter how many
times it is reflected.
you’ve seen
I’ve seen
my sadness
and anger
in them.
no less, no more.
same it stays.
just because your eye
is not the same as
theirs, doesn’t make me scared
any less, any more
it’s still reflected,
you have power.
don’t hurt me.

Every thing I right here, I have written in my journals, and all of this is deeply personal to me.
I love what I write, because it means so much to me. And I read my journals after a while and I see what I have gone through, how far I have gone. To have that knowledge as tangible proof is ...
amazing.
