The Heart of War
The sound of gunfire crackles in the cold night,
The General sits in his tent barking orders.
Hovering over a map planning, as if he were trying to solve a puzzle,
A puzzle that will cost the lives of thousands.
A new machine of war rolls over the battlefield tearing apart everything in its path,
They call it the Tiger tank,
These tanks fire from afar, and once the muzzles stop flashing, nothing remains but smoke and ash.
This is a new page in the war where you need a bigger match to light a bigger fire.
