Not A Monster

I keep myself locked safe in my room so no one can get in, and I can not get out--
I am not a monster.
I have feelings too;
do not leave me out even though I am different.
I don’t like the same things you do,
but I am the same as you.
“You will never be normal, you’re just a f**.” People shout at me in all different ways.
I am not you.
I’m just a child, it’s not my fault I am the way I am.
