"Healthy" Lunch
Long line of students eager to eat
lunch like a tiger wanting its meat
some “pretend” to be friends with some guys
in line, incessantly talking to shun others’ glaring eyes
when it is finally my turn, I shout
“chicken and noodle, please” without
picking up vegetables spoiled
or seeing the chicken only half-boiled
I say to myself, “Am I not sickened
eating that undercooked chicken?”
This “healthy” food makes me mental,
break down, and it’s quite detrimental
I shout to Lunch-associated people
“Give me More Food I Don’t Want to be your disciple”
screaming inside my stomach and outside of mouth
I am done with this long-lasting food drought
I don’t care if it’s rude:
“I am bringing my own Food!”
