Dream
Jimmy lays down and thinks of a thought
While he is sleeping on a hotel cot
As he looks outside at the planes in the air
He thinks it would be cool if he were in there
California, Europe, Brazil too
Traveling in a plane when the sky is blue
Going faster than fast quicker than quick
Being in Texas eating a corndog on a stick
Traveling so high above 30,000 feet
Better than driving on a highway or street
His ears get plugged as the pressure rises
Thinking of crashing is what his mom despises
It’s the joy that is in him
And the places to go
The only thing he hates is when the plane starts to slow
Getting his bags and all his suitcases
Driving in a rental car to new places
It is a whole different world with sites to see
Driving along his family and he
Staying for a day or even two weeks
Looking for places it’s hide and go seek
But at some point the journey is done
Throughout the trip he had to have fun
Going back home is the worst part
Going back to his daily life and restart
Unpacking is the worst
Unzipping his bags and then they burst
The adventure is done the fun is over
Going as slow as the Mars Rover
Jimmy is sleeping on his bed
With this wonderful thought inside his head
