Texas to Canada

4:30 am. The alarm is screaming at me to wake me up early.
Sleepy, I turn back into the soft warm pillow,
I felt like a weeping willow,
No muscles, no energy, and super dopey.
Later, she gets me up again, I’m not as mopey.
After breakfast, we get in the vehicle
Before we left, I got a cherry popsicle.
The road trip was long, 24 hours,
And on our way, we saw quite a few towers
One third of way there, we’re all tired from the long night trip
In the afternoon we stopped by a restaurant, a few miles down, we had taken a quick dip
At the lake, and we heard ducks "quack" in the cool breezy lake
I just hope, when we get there we’re all still awake.
Evening, we stop by a Burger King,
Halfway done traveling!
As we get back on the road,
The day had just went by and flowed.
I took a refreshing nap,
Then got back to helping with the map.
Quickly, it had gotten dark,
We got a hotel, and we had let the sleeping embark.
The journey was almost done
I had some fun,
Doing games, and had some rest
That’s what we did best
Always moving, it was unending.
But I would say it was never offending.
I loved seeing new things, going to new places
And always meeting new faces.
Then we arrived,
And we had all survived.
What a marvelous week,
It was truly unique.

I wanted to write down the adventure I did that happened three years ago, from traveling everywhere. This is just a brief description of what I did most of my life.
