Zeus's Throne
I sit high above the land,
Far up in the clouds.
I have witnessed the grand balls with colorful dresses swirling,
And the vicious duels, ending with blood near my feet.
I have heard the cries of joy and grief,
As well as felt the anger seeping off of my master
Like lava running down a magnificent mountain.
His wrath a thunderbolt, strong and painful,
He can strike down how enemies with a crash!
It was a terrifying sight in the night,
To see the old man hold the rod.
But lately things have seemed to change up here,
And my master has grown tired.
And I fear
That his reign will end.

I wanted to write from the perspective of Zeus's throne on Mount Olympus since it must've seen many things in its time.
