Projectile Imagery
I reached out my hand for help
and wasn't surprised when the actors I had casted
to be apart of my facade called life hadn't even glanced my way.
They only laugh at my cries
because I am known to use comedy to mask the pain.
Feel bad for me?
Hah! I laugh at your pity
guilt is but a symptom of the weak.
Now watch as your dreams turn to my nightmares
and my nightmares become your reality.
As we saunter into the dark abyss
that is depression.
Welcome to my life welcome to the dark side
where you too will sell your soul to the shadow
in exchage to draw it's curtains for a glimpe of the radiance
that is happiness.
