One day a year
One minute a day.
One day a year.
We stand to remember those who have fought.
The sacrific they take to keep us safe.
Some will enter and are never seen again.
The sounds of war are like a cry.
The guns go off bang.
The screams of people scared to be.
The sorrow of a family member dieing.
The hurt of lossing someone you love.
This day.
The minute a year we spend remembering.
Those who fought and died to keep us safe.
Please give them a day to be remembered.
To be the ones who are important.
Put your head down for just one minute.
One minute a year to remember those who have fought to keep us safe.
