I hate that my pain hurts you
I really do
But know that I'm no different from you
Your pain hurts me to
And I hate it
But your pain hurts me more
I can't fight in your war
And I hate it
I hate it when your hurt
That's when I'm at my worst
And I hate it
If I had my way
You'd be happy everyday
And I'd love it
In a world that would permit
The happiness that I love
Your happiness would always be above
And I'd never hate it.
