Oh how wonderful it would be to read someone's mind,
the thoughts that linger in a mind that are not your own.
I never know what they think.
Their feelings and thoughts stack upon mine.
Their love.
Their Hate.
Are they losing their mind?
Your mind is a maze.

There are so many questions.
These questions will probably never be answered.
Our minds are more complex than it seems.

Sitting in my seat,
looking around, there is an unknown struggle
Hidden under their thoughts, that are making them drown.

Mind reading is a special thing, a gift and a curse
but one I want desperately,
I’d know exactly what they’re going through,
I would help them
If only I knew…

Their brain is my favorite book
That I love to re-read.

Their secrets hide like children
hoping to never be found.

Reading someone’s mind would be so fascinating,
it would be life changing,
you could be a real life lie detector,
and you would know the truth,
you could be the best thing in the world.
