The Key to Success
The universe has hidden
from all of us
what we crave to find
the key to greatness
and success
We look for those
who society tells us
are truly great
and we are taught to imitate
what we see
But what makes them the best?
Is it their genes,
or their upbringing?
Or is it by other means
that they become great?
Many search for the answer;
look for it far and wide,
never quite pinning it down
and so we are no wiser
for what they have found
But maybe we are
enabled to see
by this failure
that success is not a lock
awaiting a key
We hold the power
encoded in us all
the ability to succeed
a power we call
confidence
