Can you see me down below?
One day I hope to know.
An image of everything I do?
Every day I think of you.
Has God forgiven you when you lied?
I have your picture in my mind.
When you died was there a bright light?
You prayed the rosary every night.
Are you with grandpa, safe and sound?
At your funeral we all kneeled down.
Can you hear me when I cry?
Please be right by my side.
Does God really know everyone by name?
In our hearts you will remain.
Did you get a pair of wings?
I know you are in the church when the choir sings.
Are you with me when I visit your grave?
Grandma, I know you are brave.
Are you still proud of me?
It feels like I haven’t seen you in eternity.
