Emotions pouring out like a waterfall
Time ticking down quickly like the rainfall
Constantly telling you to go away
Secretly wanting you to stay
Silently looking for the words to speak
But those words I could not seek
The pain you caused me cannot be expressed
The constant reminder of you interrupting my rest
I know I'll be okay eventually
But it's hard to wait for something you cannot see
I know healing will take time
But whether I like it or not this life is mine
