What wisdom is found in knowledge?

When the serpent slithered in, I didn't know what to say
Lies dripped from his chin, but I couldn't walk away
He spoke words that seemed so sweet
I ate the apple, you can call me eve

I took what he had to offer, yet paradise surrounded me
I just wanted something better, so I watched his lies come out of me
But the apple is poisoned, so I killed myself
I'm speaking post-mortem, from the depths of Hell

What I had one seen as good, led to my demise
So now in this dark place, no one hears my cries
It was my evil great that crowned me queen
So I did not party and sunk in my teeth

I tasted of sweet, but at that moment my eyes opened
Now everything is seen, and the whole world is broken
It's my fault, right? I'm a deliverer of sin
This world needs light, a deliverer from sin

So when the devil rang my doorbell
I welcomed him as he brought more Hell
As he whispered false prophecies into my ear
I was led blindly, maybe guided by my fears

But ask that matters note is I cannot hide
My naked body from his lies
But this is what results
When the devil comes to talk
