"Train your mind, and your body will follow."

The Earth is in pain,
But I am only one person.
What can I do,
To help the whole planet?

The Earth cries its sour tears,
Through polluted rains and rivers.
The fish are left without a home,
From people’s inconsiderance.

The Earth coughs its dry, poisonous air,
Through the smoky skies and winds.
The birds are left with nowhere to fly,
From people’s inconsiderance.

The Earth feels sharp pains,
From the forests we destroy and mines we create.
The resources of the planet dissipating,
From people’s inconsiderance.

The Earth’s children are dieing,
As we hunt and destroy their homes.
Their lives are destroyed,
From people’s inconsiderance.

We are all brothers and sisters of Mother Earth.
Her skies and waters give us all life,
Her resources give us all homes,
Her children give us all friendship.

Without her, we are nothing.
We would not have the life we have now,
We would not have homes,
We would not have our brothers and sisters.

So why do people forget?
Why don’t they consider what gave them life?
Why don’t they consider what gave them homes?
Why don’t they consider what gave them their brothers and sisters?

The Earth is in pain,
And I am only one person,
But I can help by reconsidering,
And help the world, one person at a time.
