I HAVE NO CHOICE

All I’m doing is acting out the script they gave to me.
I have no choice if their ears are as blind as their eyes.
Maybe they don’t trust in my decisions or dreams.
I gave so much respect and reverence to them and all I get back in return is a lecture of disappointment.
They say “Don’t put up with put downs that try to put you down”
But wat if those put down are the ones you looked up to.
Let me shoot for the sun and moon and if I shall not make it, at least I’ll surely land amongst the stars.

Tis peice is about a persons dreams being crushed their parents because they dont approve of them. I was inspired by the fact that all dreams should have a shot at success.
