Through Him I am Saved

He holds me while I cry
And wipes away my tears
He puts a smile on my face
And conquers all my fears
He is God and he is almighty
He is the King of Kings
And the Lord of Glory
He holds me close to his heart
To keep me safe and warm
He picks up all my pieces
When I'm broken
And I'm torn
He gets me through the good and bad
Through the easy and the hard
He loves me and protects me
Healing where I've been scarred
He is my God and he is almighty
He is the King of Kings
And the Lord of Glory
He is my healer and my saviour
By his stripes I am healed
And through him I am saved.

It reminds me of all that I have overcome with my past of abuse. It shows me just how great that I can be. It also shows just how far I have come in only six and a half months.
