Live Love Hope
Listen my children and you shall hear,
Of the poison that can tear
Through families hearts and cut lives on earth short,
Many join hands to support
The cause once a year.
Women, men, and children all march together in the color pink,
We will never give up until we find a cure,
Our hearts all beat in sync,
Those touched by cancer just want to stay here,
They are fighters,
Let’s make a brighter future,
Cancer affects everyone’s family tree,
Pink ribbons are the start to a beautiful existence that is cancer free,
Will you help find a cure? Yes, I agree.
There is a “can” in the word cancer because we can beat cancer!
Never giving up is the answer,
You are a survivor and if cancer comes back stay strong and continue to fight the battle.

This piece is a parody poem of the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere. I wrote this because many family members and friends of mine have been touched by Breast Cancer. I hope people will understand you can beat cancer.
