Summer's kiss
Waters splashing and trying to get his attention,
I beckon his eyes to look at me.
The pool was cold, but I felt warm inside.
Waiting for his affections on me.
We walk to the basketball court, while the boys shot some threes.
“Victoria, if I make this I’ll kiss you.”
I reply with a “Yea right” but my heart flutters inside me.
He shoots and misses, and these feelings just flee.
He laughs it off, we go inside, and I think he has no intentions at all.
But hope is still there and waiting to be enthralled.
We ran around the house and into the an open room,
My body crashed against the wall with a BOOM,
And his soft lips were placed against mine,
The room began to spin, and my body was numb
I can die now was all I could think, but man I felt so dumb.
The movement grew stronger, while I became breathless
My heart jumped when I felt him go restless
When I felt his tongue wrapped around mine,
We both knew we lost track of time,
How many times I try to forget, the kiss will forever go on replay.
