The mirror
I am a mirror A reflection of myself that isn’t myself,
Wishing of being my own mirror and be perfect
Knowing I’ll never happen makes it much easier
Reaching out to the mirror, touching it
The mirror touch, the mirror listens
When I’m in pain I go to the mirror like it it’s my only hope
I tell my problems because she is helpful
I feel her through the mirror, +
She feels my pain,
She reads my thoughts,
She shines my rain
The mirror tells me the right things to do
I stand up and look back at the mirror to see if she’s still there, She is, doing the same,
I smile as I walk away, knowing she did too
No longer visiting the mirror knowing she set me free
The mirror is me
