The Stars
The sky dark
With lights bright
A community far from stark
Yet all focus is on you
With a crowd full of others
There is a need to be impressionable
We start with small talk
Wanting this to never end, I discard the clock
Getting to know one another
Our speech gets more intimate
Your pleasure is searhing for stars
We look up expecting the sky to be lit
We laugh for nothing is in the skies
A glance at eachother in mid-smile
And that is when I realize
All of the stars are held in your eyes
