People don’t understand

what they do, who they are
what the sacrifices they have made
They are the ones who unite our nation, the resolvers of conflict, the peace keepers
They are there throughout the four corners of the Earth
they don’t just fight for our freedom
they fight for others
they are the ones who give us the light of hope
They are honored because they have done something that was worth recognition.
They never leave a man behind, brother or not, it’s their motto for life
They take care of those who have a chance for a better future, give each person that spark
They enlighten them through their fighting, hard work, and coming to their aid
Without their tremendous service and life
Many would not have what we have built today
This includes our freedom, our family, and our country!
