Fall Skating
Orange, Red, Yellows and Browns
Painted across the silent woods
We cruise by, the road smooth as butter.
Crisp, Smokey smell of fire fills my nose
S'mores devoured by campers.
I can taste it.
Muffled voices say directions,
Hard to hear with our wheels screaming against the cold pavement
The pink sunset is beautiful in the cold night.
We push against the heavy wind
The scene is filled with only the wheels of our skateboards
No Voices.
Into the silent night.
