In My Room
In My Room
The Door
It’s sealing gives me sanctuary
The heated tempers of the outside world,
freeze and die
The Deep, Dark Void
which is my mind
opens behind closed doors.
Away from prying eyes,
My true self can be released
The comforts of cold, sweet solitude
can be replicated by no other
Out there,
Sovereignty may evade me
But here,
the door seals it in

I was inspired by the personal effect that my room has on me. The fact that solitude is my best friend.
