Into The Distance
Chilled hard grubby ground.
All teachers becoming bears when
yelling at students to stop texting
in class.
Gazing down the smelly sweaty
hallway a teacher stomping her
heels like a mad wolf.
Eyes peering out these two big
glass doors taking a hard look at
the green freshly cut grass
and the fine painted white lines
on the soccer field.
I imagine myself playing out there
scoring the winning goal of the game
with cheers and screams
from all the fans.
