Redfish Lake
They stand
Tall and jagged in the distance
Sprouting rows of pointed teeth
Armies of pines blanket the looming towers
Of snow tipped stone
Far below
A shimmering mirror
Glassy undulating waves glide over
An ever deepening bowl of peacock hues
Shadowed beneath these glorious Sawtooths
There is peace and tranquility
A place of joy
A haven of warmth
A sanctuary, where life's interruptions are suspended
And the elegance of nature evokes an air of majesty

Redfish Lake is a very special place that my family and I return to every summer. It is beautiful and serene.
