about so many things
mostly of you
I dream about the future
how everything will flow together
as my happiness unwraps while
the sun is burning overhead

There will be a day,
a day when we are living together
in a place we will call home
as we have our ups and downs but
will always have each other at
the end of the day

our apartment in New York
as we move away
from the place we loved
and never thought to leave

a day when we looked back
on our memories as we move forward
with our dreams and goals

as the days past and
I grow old with every
thought of you

a day when you are standing
there in a tux  waiting for the
love of your life to walk
down the path to say I do
while I watch in the shadows
with tears flowing

People say to chase after
your dreams and make them
reality
so here I am
chasing after you

I say I’ll chase
until my heart finally
sees someone has already
gotten you and your happiness
before I give up
