A blessing
A Blessing
Wooden, solid, the shape of a heart
A cross in the middle, a picture inside
Open it up; hear a verse and a song come alive.
So much love all captured inside,
I really wish my grandpa was still alive.
The photo inside of us smiling together always brings joy.
Weather this situation was happy or sad
He would always step up and act as my dad.
He is the best person I’ve known, I’m so blessed
I’m happy he gets a peaceful rest.
In heaven above,
So lucky they are,
To have a man that shines like a star.
I love my grandpa
So does everyone too,
More than he had ever knew.
He had the best soul,
He made everyone smile.
I hope to see him, in a little while.
