What is it like, being in my mind?

Well, it’s a prison.
My prison.
I’ve been trapped here forever.
And sentenced to an eternity.
It was torture, until I learned.
I could change it, and make it My Paradise.
It’s confusing, and constantly changing.
Like a labyrinth.

I was diagnosed with Aspergers at a young age.  The way I think and feel is different than those around me.  This poem expresses the eternal struggle in my mind based on my disability.
