Possible Enjoyment
I sat completely still
closed my eyes tight,
and hoped I wouldn't fall to my death
I felt a steady movement
my entire body locked
I became unable to move
terror overflowed my brain
as I felt the cart travel,
up the hill
I opened my eyes
I looked around at my surroundings
all I could see was the blue sky
and clouds forming into funny shapes
I reached the top
I felt my stomach flip
it's to late
the cart quickly fell down the steep slope
I screeched out with fright
the wind slicked my hair back
and swished it around in
the warm summer air
left, right, upside down
the little car traveled in all directions
rushing through each one
we were so high up
I couldn't help but think
that death, was possibility
then suddenly we slowed down
the fully stopped
it was over
my head felt like mush
as i stepped out of the cart
I caught my breath with every step I took
I laughed to myself
I had done it
I had faced my fear
my biggest fear
I didn't think enjoying it was possible
but it was,
it was 100% possible
