Always There
I remember when I was little
We spent every minute with you because,
My parents were always busy
And you were always there.
When I got a boo-boo,
You were there to kiss and pray the pain away,
You were there to teach me about our LORD
And about being a Christian,
To teach me about Noah's ark and
The story of David and Goliath,
Always there to make sure we got bible study
When we spent the summer with you
You were there even miles away
Called every day making sure we were okay
And to pray we have a beautiful day until..
One day you were no longer here with us,
For once in my life you were no longer there.
No longer here to teach more singing and piano lessons and learn new songs,
No longer here to give the best hugs and tickle me and my sister
You were no longer here because
You went up to be with the LORD.
Just because you are no longer there
I will always remember when you were
And to hold and cherish that memory
FOREVER.

This poem is dedicated to my beloved guardian angel, my grandmother that I loved and will always love. She was always there and was the best grandmother there ever could be! I was and am still blessed to be her grand-daughter. I will always remember and cherish my memories with her.
