Hurricane
My life is like a hurricane.
There's always a calm before the storm.
I never know when everything will
really hit me, but once it does,
it's nothing short of a disaster.
I'm pushed around by harsh winds,
swept off my feet, but put back down
again. The heavy rain causes flooding,
drowning me as I scream for someone
to help.
The eye of the storm comes, the
moment I think it's finally all over.
I'm happy for a while, until the wind
picks up, the rain starts to pour,
the thunder starts to rumble, and
the lightning starts to strike.
Then I become the hurricane. The
anger and rage builds up and I
cause the wind to blow and the
rain to pour and the thunder to rumble
and the lightning to strike.
I scare people away with my fiery
lightning and my ear ringing
thunder. I drown out the people
that care with my floods, and push
them away with my winds. I’m a
hurricane. A natural disaster.
