Going Under
Depression.
It’s being sad for no reason.
Screaming at the top of your lungs,
begging for help while nobody can hear you.
Trapped under water,
not able to breathe, not able to drown.
Depression.
You can see and hear everyone,
still they cannot you.
It’s wondering what went wrong,
when there is nothing to wonder about.
Depression.
Someone may ask if you’re okay,
but nobody can help when you’re going under.
