Family
Accountants who work a lot, but make time for their daughter
Cops who worry, about where we are and what we are doing
Brothers who protect, because he knows what guys do
Dogs who play, waiting patiently for us to come home
Aunts who doll me up, because older cousins are gone
Uncles who are funny, because I'm old enough to understand their jokes
Grandparents who spoil, because we're their second generation kids.
My generation
The generation that invented hashtags.
That society shapes on how you look
How much money you have
And where you live
Where rap music is the only music
If you're not like everybody, you're a nobody
But that's when family comes in.
Who work for you, protect you, worry about you, but love you.
