My Life
Nothing was the same when my dad passed.
I had to grow up fast
new and more responsibility was thrown on me.
I learned to value each and every day of my life like it was my last
because it very well could be.
My dad taught me so much about who I am and that I chose the right game.
Soccer.
Soccer has taken over my life and I use it to escape. I am also using it to take some of the financial burden of college away from my mom.
My mother does so much for me and it’s the least I can do,
work hard every day for an almost free college education.
My dad was my first teacher of the game and I feel like that must mean something and to me, it does.
I like to associate a lot of things in my life with sports because it’s something I can always use to forget the hard things and something that makes me happy.
I may be a little arrogant, I’m aware of it, I just love doing something I know my father would be proud of me for.
