What Makes My Life Mine

My life has been full of events, from when my brother was born, to my uncle’s wedding.
I have had some good events, some bad ones.
However, all of them have had purpose.
My life is unique to me, and only me.
My life is full of friends and family.
They people that I cherish more than anything.
These people give me purpose.
I would be nothing without them.
My life has had ups and its downs, like that day in October, I’ll never forget.
My life has had sadness, and happiness.
Without those things, I wouldn’t be who I am today.
For that, I am deeply thankful.
