So Cold
Your heart is as cold as the snow
That falls on my freshly cut lawn.
Your eyes cut deeper
Than razors on my skin.
Your words stick in my mind
Like tattoos.
Your hands pierce my skin
Like needles.
You’re meaner than your words.
You eat my soul till I’m no longer alive.
But, of course, you don’t care.
The scars on my body are your music.
The tears in my eyes are your laughter.
You didn’t know your words cut so deep
Till I took my last breath.
My skin is bruised to your delight.
You call me a b**** and laugh as I cry.
I sit alone crying as blood fills the tub.
You wouldn’t care if I died.
But I’m done being your five minute smoke break.
It’s time that I’m free,
And you feel the pain.
