A Hero

I remember when you told me you love me.
Not the vague watered down love,
the kind of abundant and unconditional love only a mother could give.
You were as young as I.
Yet you still brought me into this world.
I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for your strength.
You put up with my bad and enjoy my good.
You truly are my hero.
