I don't understand

I don’t understand,
what is the difference,
what makes them better,
what makes them more.
I don’t understand,
what is the difference,
what makes us less,
what makes us worse.
I don’t understand,
why men are above
and women below,
why men are strong,
and women are not.
I don’t understand,
when did we decide
that it’s right we don’t have rights.
I don’t understand,
who thought it was okay
to put us away.
I just don’t understand,
why is it so difficult to see
than men and women
are the same.
