I was, I now, I hope.
I was born May 9th, 2000.
I was given a name that will stick with me the rest of my life.
I was raised by my mom and dad.
I moved across Lake Michigan when I was 4.
And I was given the news when my dog died and I couldn’t say goodbye.
I now live in Flushing Michigan.
I now am a sophomore in high school.
I now have my mom and dad living in the same town after 5 years.
I now know that I’m lucky to live the life I do.
I now have a better understanding of what life is going to be like.
I hope to make more friends throughout life.
I hope to achieve good grades throughout high school.
I hope to be accepted into the college of my choice.
I hope to graduate from college with a degree of my choosing.
I hope to one day pursue a career I love.
