Swag Overdose
I see the traffic
Going the wrong direction
The intersections are crowded
Freshmen are now clogging
The flow to the classes.
I’m going to be late,
I think through my stress.
The seniors are impatient,
The juniors have become annoyed,
The sophomores are clueless,
As to what’s going on.
My class is right there,
As the one minute bell rings.
But I am still caught up,
In the riptide of students.
I spot a pretty sick kid,
With even sicker J’s
And then I see it.
He passes out,
From his swag overdose.
