Crossroads
Fields of exposed paths.
Downtrodden with each step, taking one shuts the rest,
Choose thine family, thine riches of thine goal, or turn away, fret none, damn both.
This road decides all, which one shall you call upon,
The road of life, the road of love,
The road most important to you, is the road that’s closed.
Crossroads take the given path or create anew .
The choice all balances upon you.
Take the choices damn them all.
Create the road that takes it all.
One split, one choice, one chance,
Be the one who takes the lance.
Chase down the new road.
Not looking back, stride on.
No changing the past.
Keep to the road strong and true,
All previous choices kneel before you.
Broken a path, so outspoken.
A choice not seen is not so weened to be perceived,
Of something so lean, so bare to be taken as a given.
Proven is their choices, unbeknownst to you.
