Twenty One Pilots
I'm fairly local but I'm stressed out-
I've got a migraine in my head and now guns for hands,
Deep inside my I feel a ruby colored tear in my heart-
They promised a house of gold but now I'm on the run and go.
I'm way up in the trees now, everything just falls away;
I'm trying to hold onto you but you won't call a truce,
My heavy dirty soul is too much, you say.
Now you know I'm a goner, it's time to face the judge-
The screen will fade to black, cause I'm just an addict with a pen.

This poem uses seventeen different song titles from a band called twenty one pilots. Their music is inspiring to listeners everywhere, so I thought a poem weaving together their songs would be fascinating. While many of the lines in the poem include their song titles, they are arranged and edited to tell a new story.
