Night
The scariest thing about night is never knowing what will happen
Nothing can be revealed in the dark
Nothing can be learned in the dark
Your surroundings become invisible just you will
Your words can easily fade into the night
Your presence becomes another figure in the dark
Bound to be forgotten with everything else
Bound to be trapped among the ignored and feared
You can never be sure what is what
You can never be sure if you’re going to stay on solid land
You can never be sure if you’ll be pushed away by the ocean
A tree melts into a cylinder and a wall melts into a boundary
A heart stays dark and a person becomes a figure
You will never be able to let yourself into light
You will never be able to see the masks
You will never be able to see the knives someone will hide
The scariest thing about night is the mystery that haunts every room
