When I was young life was a roller coaster

When I was young I was falling

                                            Down

                                                     Down

                                                              Down.

When I was young metal steps hit my arms, legs, and head.

When I was young BAM! Was the only thing he heard.

When I was young my strongest bone was dead.

When I was young tears fell down when someone came over,

When I was young pink bandages filled a photo.

When I was young there was no play ground

When I was young I had to drag myself around

When I was young I couldn’t stand up

When I was young there was always a frown

When I was young there were new beginnings

When I was young my bone came alive

When I was young I was able to strive

When I was young I realized this roller coaster will never die.

The author's comments:

When I was young I went down the roller coaster of my life. That roller coaster was named The Metal Steps. My bone was dead in my dads eyes. My strongest bone (which is the femur) was snaped in two. I went through my first roller coaster when I was young.
