What would you do if today was your last day to live? Now go do it.

A remarkable capability of being able to deceive one's ability of sight sounds and smells.

I was deceived of my perception as a child.
I remember the first thing I saw was my father reaching down to pick me up and mommy smothering me with kisses..

I remember seeing...the most beautiful shinning strobe lights..on my way to school..shining on me and everyone noticing
the rays of hope beaming from my body.

Society lied to me.
Giving me the pity reason that if I don't get a paper signed by a dean that I mean nothing.
That if I don't participate in a ceremonial activity that I am less than the person who does and want to boast about the little knowledge they did obtain that they will forget about tomorrow.

What is the Louisiana purchase?

A book can't teach you that the one faced in front of a gun barrel lives longer then the one who pulled the trigger.
My teacher never told me that a black thick haired child could express themselves creatively.
That the only art we had was in a studio or on a court or field.

Deception of my perception.
Not every black man is born with dribbling skills.
Not every black woman is born to slide down a pole.
And believe it or not.
We aren't the only ones killing ourselves.
