Windows and Heartbreak
She's staring out the window,
Her black midnight hair shrouding her in a black veil of mystery.
She's thinking about many things,
All indecipherable,
Thoughts are racing,
she's facing out the window,
raindrops on the glass,
Look like tears
She thinks back through all those years,
the heartbreak,
the smiles, the laughs,
the hardships, the concerts.
It's all a lot to think back on,
But it's for the best ,
All those pent up emotions,
Leaving through her eyes,
and her mouth,
finally voiced to the world.

The reason I wrote this piece was because I was inspired by someone on a school bus. While I was waiting for my own bus, I saw this girl sitting by the window with dark hair, and not much of a positive aura. It had also been raining that day, and that was what set the poem into motion.
