Purity
Rain is untainted
The Smell
The Feeling
The Sight
The smell will relax you
The feeling washes away the impurities
And
The sight will mesmerize you
You see all the damage the rain can do
But maybe it’s only meant to wash away the impurities and the pain
It’s only meant to cleanse what we have consumed
To bring about a change
Rain’s intention is not to suppress or to cause heartbreak
Not to cause sadness or gloom
But only to fix what we have broken
To extinguish the flames of the fire we have let scorch this Earth
It’s to bring about a new change in life
All the time people say
It could be worse
It could be raining
But it’s hard to think of rain as the worst
Only because
The rain is so perfect
It’s no trouble to love
